PEABODY – Hello. This is Mayor Ted Bettencourt. Another New England fall is upon us and once again I have scheduled several dates for free curbside leaf collection.
Free curbside pick-up of leaves and other yard waste is scheduled for the weeks of October 6th, October 20th, November 3rd, November 10th, and December 1st.
During these designated weeks, on your regular trash pickup day, you may leave your leaves and yard waste in paper bags or barrels.
No yard waste in plastic bags will be accepted.
There is no charge for curbside leaf collection here in Peabody.
Please also note that you may take yard waste to the Department of Public Services, 50 Farm Avenue any weekday during regular business hours. The Department of Public Services is open Monday through Friday from7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
