LYNN – The victim in yesterday’s fatal shooting in Lynn is identified as Sina Zangiband, 24, of Salem.  He was delivering food for Atha’s Pizza when he was shot multiple times on Bowler Street at approximately 5:50 pm.

Shortly after the shooting, police issued a law enforcement BOLO (Be on the Lookout) for a 2004 Audi A4 with New Hampshire plates based on witness statements.  At approximately 10:40 pm, Massachusetts State Police troopers stopped a motor vehicle traveling south on Route 1 in Peabody that matched the description in the BOLO.  During the traffic stop, they discovered that the operator was in possession of a firearm for which he did not have a license.

In the meantime, North Andover Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. BRITO for Aggravated Rape, Armed Robbery While Masked and Kidnapping in connection with a crime reported to them at 10:19 pm last night.  Mr. BRITO is expected to be arraigned on those charges in the Lawrence District Court early next week.
