Public Reception: Saturday , June 11th, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

“Paint, Paste, Print,” an exhibit of work by Marblehead artist Jean Fogle, will feature paintings in acrylic, collage and mixed-media, and gelatin prints, and will be on exhibit from Monday, June 6th through Thursday, June 30th, in the Abbot Public Library’s Carten Gallery.. The public is invited to the Artist’s Reception on Monday, June 6th, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Local artist Jean Fogle enjoys the creative process through many media and art forms. As a painter, she explores with acrylic, oil, water color and collage to create abstract compositions on canvas, paper or board.

Her work as a decorative artist, under the name Pigments of the Imagination, features painted furniture and atmospheric wall treatments, including murals and faux and fancy finishes. As a theatre artist, she designs costumes and set decoration for several North Shore theatre companies.

Jean has been recognized with awards in all these endeavors, and exhibits regularly in both group and solo shows. Jean is a member of The Marblehead Arts Association. She is a graduate of Vesper George School of Art, with further study at the Museum of Fine Arts, Kaji Aso Studio and Montserrat College of Art.
