Volunteers 1-3pm spoke to 2 diff. groups who traveled from Western Mass. (1 “Worcester area”) to try Good Harbor Beach reservations, saw the piping plover signs, asked to use binoculars, & loved the birds.
On this busy beach day, one piping plover family of 4 used the protected area late afternoon. 1:1 ratio parent covering chick. Good Harbor Beach
