LYNN – (Radio Interview) Sportswriter Matt Roy will be leaving the area to take a new job next week at the Gardner News, a newspaper in Gardner, MA. The new job will be an assistant editors position and he will be working with the area schools.
Roy has covered a wide variety of sports for the Daily Item (Lynn) for several years. He established a solid reputation for being an informed reporter and committed to supporting the north shore community. Roy has also been a commentator for Moorestuffonline.com in baseball, football, basketball, and hockey broadcasts.
