Our Super Sub Super Performance of the Week is the Danvers field hockey team, which beat Beverly, 3-0, in a Northeastern Conference matchup. Sadie Papamechail scored the game’s first goal off a corner and later assisted on another, according to the Salem News.
 
Gloucester football coach Danny O’Connor discusses his team’s 2022 outlook. The Fishermen are hoping to get above .500 for the first time since O’Connor took over as head coach in the 2019 season. Frank DeSisto is one of the players Coach O’Connor is excited about.
 
Gary Larrabee gives his North Shore golf report. He talks about the opening of the high school season with Marblehead’s Chris Locke and Marty Ryan, Hamilton-Wenham’s Joe Coughlin and Aidan Noonan, Ipswich’s Connor Wright and Charlie Jepson, Masconomet’s Tyler Feldberg, Danvers’ Jacob Hamel, Swampscott’s Ben O’Brien and Peabody’s Sam and Jonathan Oliveri getting mentions.
