Appointments open on Saturdays at noon for week ahead clinics
SALEM, MA – The Cities of Salem and Beverly and the Towns of Danvers, Marblehead, and Swampscott have announced an on-going schedule for their regional COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic site at Salem State University’s South Campus.
Going forward, appointments will be opened at noon every Saturday for the following week’s clinic dates. Only eligible residents of the five communities will be able to register for an appointment time. Appointments can be booked by clicking the “Click here to check for appointments at the clinic located at Salem State University’s South Campus” link on www.salem.com/vaccine.
The number of available appointments and clinic days will vary each week depending on the availability of vaccine doses from the state. As additional groups of residents become eligible to receive the vaccine, additional clinic days will be added.
Who is eligible to get the vaccine? Only residents who fall in the Phase 1 category and the Phase 2, Group 1 category (those who are 75 years of age or older, or who are a caregiver accompanying a 75-year-old or older resident) are currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Massachusetts.
