North Shore 104.9 Ends Local Programming – Radio Station To Be Sold – New Religious Format to Air

NORTH SHORE – The Salem News is reporting that local radio station WBOQ – 104.9 FM will be sold and their local programming will be replaced with a religious format. Some sources indicate the new format will be a national format “K-Love” that airs positive & encouraging music. The station will soon be owned by Educational Media Foundation (EMF) according to the website “Radio Insight”. North Shore 104.9 provided local listeners with local news headlines, live high school football broadcasts as well as Patriots football broadcasts. Hank Morse was the station’s morning show host and former Boston radio personality. The station also aired many popular weekend shows featuring local topics. Radio Insight Story

MSONEWSPORTS.com is planning to expand local news and sports programming, MSO is pleased to announce that the Kelley Media supplied sports show, North Shore Sports Desk and Merrimack Valley Sports Desk will be moving to msonewsports.com as of 5 p.m. today.
