In respect for the 32 Newburyport residents lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, please join us for a remote short service to honor their memory on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Mayor Holaday will be joined by Reverend Christopher Ney from Central Congregational Church and Reverend Rebecca Bryan with the First Religious Society, Unitarian Universalist. We’re asking that all municipal and state buildings in the city be flown at half-staff this day. Our local places of worship will ring their church bells 32 times at noon on Monday to honor these victims and their survivors and to recognize their loss for families and friends.
