New England Beach Soccer Comes to Good Harbor Beach on Saturday

GLOUCESTER – (Radio & Video) “New England Beach Soccer” will be bringing back a  12-team tournament to Good Harbor Beach on Saturday, June 18, at 9 a.m., according to the tournament organizer, Anthony LaRocca of Gloucester and Somerville.  Below is a radio interview with LaRocca and a video discussion of how the tournament works.  And the games will be streamed live with video from Andrew Nicastro of Streamography.com

 

 

“Beach Soccer is a game that’s rapidly grown in popularity throughout the globe for its acrobatics, quick pace, and sensational goals. During the second to last weekend of June, dozens of teams from across New England will battle it out at Good Harbor Beach to be crowned champion of the region.

The tournament is not just about crowning a champion, but more importantly giving back to the community. This year, all of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Fishermen Youth Soccer as well as the Gloucester High School Soccer Boosters. These two organizations have been instrumental in the development of thousands of young student-athletes and soccer players and have played a vital part in the community for several decades. We’re so happy to be able to give back to these deserving organizations and re-invest in our youth and community,
