NAHANT – (Radio & Photos) The town of Nahant has recently gone through three interruptions in sewer service. In a radio interview Town Administrator Jeffrey Chelgren shares information on the recent disruptions and future solutions to update the 11 mile sewer line to the Lynn pumping station. Chelgren also shares notes on a variety of town topics: the wharf project, recent town meeting, schools, department heads, and town planning needs. Nahant will also schedule a special town meeting this Fall with two agenda items: Sewer Master Plan and Coast Guard Housing planning. Chelgren has held his position for just over two years.
