NAHANT (Video – Photos) Nahant fire fighters responded to an alarm sounded for the Oceanview Function facility at 0 Willow Road at approximately 2:15 Wednesday afternoon. Upon their arrival they sounded a second alarm and received support from area departments. (Lynn, Swampscott, & Marblehead). The fire started in the kitchen and was contained to the kitchen although smoke could be seen coming out of the front door of the building when the department arrived. All workers inside the building were able to exit the without any injuries. Nahant Fire Chief Austin Antrim discusses the work done by the firemen in the video below. The Oceanview is located on the water in Nahant adjacent to the Kelly Greens Golf Course.
