Gloucester –  After leading Beverly by a score of 13-0 until :40.7 left in the third quarter, the Gloucester Fishermen saw their lead evaporate into a 15-13 deficit within 29 seconds.  After Matt Madden scored for the Panthers on a 45 yard touchdown scamper with just over 20 seconds left in the third quarter, Jake Berry intercepted a Mike Cody pass and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown with 10:51 remaining in the fourth quarter to give Beverly a 15-13 advantage.  Beverly had the 2-point lead when Gloucester took over at their own 38 yard line with 1:10 left and no timeouts remaining.  The Fishermen put together a masterful drive that finished with an 8 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Mike Cody to Alex Millitello with 3.8 seconds left in the game.

Christian Sanfillippo scored on touchdown runs of 8 and 6 yards as he amassed 159 yards on 20 carries.

Beverly lost two starters in the third and fourth quarters respectively as both starting quarterback Kevin Morency and all-everything running back Madden left the game with injuries.
