🗑️♻️ City of Gloucester Trash & Recycling Update
The City continues to operate a temporary recycling drop-off site at the DPW yard at 28 Poplar Street. The site is open Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM for residential use only, 🚫 no commercial drop-offs. Please do not arrive before 12 noon. DPW staff will be on-site to help.
🚫 No curbside recycling pickup at this time — please do not leave recycling at the curb.
✅ Curbside trash pickup is continuing on its normal schedule.
🕖 Have your trash out by 7:00 AM on your regular day
🕔 Crews have until 5:00 PM to collect
📲 Missed pickup? Report via SeeClickFix after 5:00 PM, Republic will return the next day.
If you’re able, please consider helping neighbors​, especially seniors or anyone without transportation​, get their recycling to the drop-off site.
