Breaking News: Salem Police are investigating a shooting incident in the vicinity of Horton Street and Jefferson Ave. This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing danger to the public, but traffic is temporarily closed on Horton. (Salem Police issued this statement at 8:30 a.m.)

Mount Washington Observatory – The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) is currently visible from the summit as of 2030 EST. We have also seen images from central NH and northern ME.
