Beverly Fire Receives $7,958 in Grant Funding

The City of Beverly Fire Department has been awarded a Student Awareness of Fire Education (SAFE) $5,481 grant and a Senior SAFE grant for $2,477 from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) โ€“ Department of Fire Services (DFS). ย Total grant award is $7,958 for public fire and life safety initiatives in our community.

Manchester Police Department Seeks Information

The Manchester-by-the-Sea Police Department is seeking the publicโ€™s help with a recent matter. On Thursday, January 19 at 5:45 PM, a reported dog bite occurred on Church Street between the Library and Town Hall. The Police would like to have a conversation with the owner of the two dogs involved.
Description: Caucasian male, 35-40 years old with a brown beard. One small white and brown 15 pound dog and one large black and brown dog believed to be a Doberman.
We appreciate any tips or to have the owner involved come into the station. Call 978-526-1212.

Ipswich TrackThe Ipswich girls track team took eighth out of over 50 schools at the MSTCA Relays today. The girls placed third in the floor by 400 relay, fourth in the long jump, relay, and fourth in the high jump relay.
