Tuesday’s MIAA High School Tournament Updates: Beverly Boys Lacrosse Scores Win – MIAA Brackets With Schedules

Weston 5, Hamilton-Wenham 0

Hamilton Wenham boys tennis team was swept by Weston in the Division 3 North Semifinals today 5-0. Weston, a perennial contender in the state tournament is this year’s favorite to win Division 3, as they added a new number one singles player to their already potent lineup.

Nick Ong and Will Curtis played well at second doubles before falling 5-7, 0-6.

The Generals finished the season 11-8 and will look to build on this year’s experience next year.

Coach Joe Maher quote, “Every year Weston seems to be that knocks us out of the tournament dating back to 2010, including the last three years. They have a very strong team that has no weaknesses…they are going to be very tough to beat.”
