LOWELL – (Radio & Videos) Danvers scored seven runs in the fourth inning to break open a close game with Reading Saturday night in Lowell. Danvers defeated Reading 94 to advance to the state title game Wednesday night at Lynn’s Fraser Field. Tim Unczer had three hits for Danvers, including a triple. Dan Lynch delivered a bases loaded triple in the fourth inning and Zach Dillion delivered two hits and 2 RBI. Andrew Olszak pitched a complete game win striking out 8 batters. Reading’s Carl Gillies had three hits including a triple while teammates Greg Diloreto and Mark Dalton each had two hits. With the win, Danvers has now won 15 straight games.
