LOWELL (Video – Photos) It was a good tournament run for the Triton boys hockey team. #10 Triton fell to #11 Nashoba Tech 4-1, as the two teams were playing their best hockey late in the season. Nashoba Tech jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period, added one more goal in the second period and once the final period began the Vikings were chasing three goals. Triton did get on the board at 2:01 of the third period on a goal from Mason Colby, assisted by Josh Hersey. Nashoba Tech’s 4th goal was an open net goal with less than a minute to play. Triton goaltender Gavin Marengi did make some big saves in the third period while the Vikings were trying to press the play in the offensive end.
