LOWELL – (Photos – Video) #1 St. John’s Prep fell to #4 Pope Francis Sunday afternoon (1-0) in the MIAA D1 state semifinal game at the Tsongas Arena. The game’s only goal came just over halfway through the third period from the Cardinal’s Nick Pekovich. The game featured up and down action with each goaltender making big stops throughout the game.
