Meet Me at the Museum! Celebrating Two Decades of the Arts and First Decade of History in the Downtown! This Wednesday – Interview With Drew Russo

LYNN – (Video) (Event- 6/22/16) Twenty years ago, LynnArts found its home at 25 Exchange Street. For two decades, the old bank block has come alive as a hub for the visual and performing arts in downtown Lynn.Ten years later, the Lynn Museum and Historical Society found a new home in partnership with the Lynn Heritage State Park Visitors Center. The last decade has brought many changes to our city’s museum, including a merger with LynnArts to create a united cultural campus in the heart of our downtown.

In the past year alone, Lynn Museum / Lynn Arts forged a new partnership with the Lynn Public Schools which will bring nearly 500 students to our campus this spring, expanded their Free Family Day offerings, proudly presented the work of LynnArts artists at the State House, revitalized community galleries with thought-provoking showcases, and opened “Industry and Craft: People at Work in Lynn”, a new permanent exhibit highlighting our city’s ever-adapting workforce.
