Superintendent Michael Harvey is pleased to share that Middle and High School students achieved excellent results in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
The awards recognize student achievement in the visual and literary arts in 28 categories including painting, novel writing, mixed media, poetry, digital art, journalism and more.
Masconomet Regional High School students received a total of 63 awards — 14 Gold Keys, 24 Silver Keys and 25 Honorable Mentions — the fourth highest of all public high schools in Massachusetts.
Masconomet Regional Middle School students received more awards than any public or private high school in the state, earning a total of 31 awards: 6 Gold Keys, 7 Silver Keys, and 18 Honorable Mentions.
Gold Key-winning artworks will be displayed in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold Key art exhibition, which will be held at Tufts University from March 15-22. An awards ceremony will be held on March 16 to recognize Gold Key winners.
The following Masconomet Regional School District students received a Gold Key award and will have their artwork submitted to the national competition:

Winners in the national competition will be announced on March 26.
“Congratulations to all the talented and dedicated award-winning art students, participants, and their art teachers,” said Superintendent Harvey. “These students, and our art teachers, have a deep commitment and passion for the arts that is tangible just looking at the work they produce. I am proud to see their efforts recognized on a broader level.”
