Marblehead Boys Basketball Tops Peabody 63-54, Scott Campbell Leads Marblehead with 17 points

MARBLEHEAD (Vides – Photos) The Marblehead boys basketball team picked up a 63-54 win over Peabody Tuesday night. Peabody’s early first quarter lead (7-6) was erased by the Magicians early in the first quarter that ended with a 14-9 Marblehead lead. Marblehead’s largest first half lead came late inthe second quarter (33-19). At the half, Marblehead led 33-22. Marblehead’s leading scorer was Scott Campbell (17 points). Isaiah Makor added 13 points. Anthony Forte led Peabody with 18 points and Rafael Laurent added 15 points. In the postgame interviews both head coaches share their observations on the game.
