Black Beach on Ocean Street Temporarily Closed to SwimmingPlease be advised that the Black Beach on Ocean Street in Manchester has been posted as temporarily closed to swimming. The beach failed this week’s beach water testing, which requires the beach to be posted as closed to swimming. The five other Manchester Beaches have all passed testing and are all open to swimming.Those beaches include:Black Cove Beach aka West Manchester BeachTuck’s Point BeachSinging BeachWhite BeachGray Beach aka Magnolia BeachThe Board of Health completes beach water quality testing weekly at all six beaches.Testing is conducted from mid-May thru Labor Day.Black Beach will be reopened to swimming at such time as it has passed additional testing
