MANCHESTER-BY- THE-SEA – This week, we are excited to showcase our Apparatus of the Month: Ladder 1. This impressive vehicle is a 2023 Rosenbauer 109′ Viper Aerial Quint, equipped with a 500-gallon water tank and a 30-gallon foam tank, in addition, it has essential firefighting/rescue equipment and advanced life support EMS gear. Given our minimum staffing, Ladder 1 serves as our primary response vehicle, thanks to its versatile capabilities that allow us to perform multiple tasks efficiently. The accompanying pictures highlight the equipment carried onboard. We extend our gratitude to the citizens of Manchester for approving this purchase, enabling us to continue our apparatus replacement schedule.
