On Saturday, December 26th at approximately 5:35pm Lynn Police responded to the area of Quincy Terrace after receiving numerous calls for gunshots. Officers located six victims with gunshot wounds in the area. Four victims were transported to MGH, at least two with life-threatening injuries, and two were transported to Salem Hospital. One of the victims, identified as Gustavo Santana (DOB 9/9/1989), of Lynn, was pronounced dead later that evening. Specific information as to the condition of the other victims is not available, however, they are all alive.
The Essex District Attorney’s Office, Lynn Detectives and Mass State Police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
