There is no further information available.

At approximately 9:40 a.m. today (Monday, July 24), the blue car seen in these photos caused a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Land Boulevard and Cambridgeside Place in Cambridge. The blue car rear-ended another car that was stopped at the traffic light, and pushed that car into a third vehicle.

After the crash, the male driver of the blue car got out and spoke with the driver of the vehicle he had rear-ended and suggested they pull over to the side of the road. The driver then got back into his car. The other two cars then pulled over, but the blue car then drove right past them and continued eastbound onto Land Boulevard toward the Gilmore Bridge.

The driver of the car that was rear-ended by the blue car was transported to Cambridge Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the third car was also transported to Cambridge Hospital for precautionary reasons.

State Police are seeking the blue vehicle seen in these photos and its operator. The blue car had no front plate and a temporary plate of some kind in the rear. The driver’s side mirror was held in place by duct tape.

The driver is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately in his late 20s, with long dark hair. He was wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt.

Anyone who recognizes this vehicle or has information about its owner or operator is urged to call the State Police Barracks in Boston at 617-727-6780.
