The boyfriend of a slain Woburn woman was charged with her murder today in Lynn District Court.
Bruce Maiben, 44, of Lynn, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment today. Judge Jean Curran entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.
He is accused of murdering Sherell Pringle, 40, of Woburn. She was reported missing after she did not return home from a date with Maiben on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Her body was discovered the following Tuesday in Saugus.
Maiben is also charged with larceny over $1200, tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice.
The defendant was represented by Attorney John Morris and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
