The investigation into a fatal shooting near Lynn English High School early Sunday morning is continuing according to Essex District Attorney and Lynn Police Chief Chris Reddy.
At approximately 12:50 am on April 10th, Lynn Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area behind Lynn English High School. Shortly after, they were notified by Salem Hospital that a 20-year old male, later identified as Brian Gomez, of Salem, had been pronounced deceased from apparent gun shots.
The matter remains under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
