District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett released the name of the victim in a fatal drowning in a reservoir known as Walden Pond in Lynn Woods yesterday afternoon. The victim is identified as Jose Angel Capellan Rodriguez, 13, of Lynn. He was pronounced dead at Lynn Union Hospital late yesterday afternoon, after first responders from Lynn and Saugus located him and pulled him from the reservoir at approximately 2:30 pm.
Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Essex District Attorney’s Office and Lynn Police investigated the death and do not suspect foul play.
