SWAMPSCOTT (Photos – Video) The Lynn Classical baseball team grabbed a 5-0 non-league win Saturday afternoon in Swampscott against the Big Blue. With the win the Rams improved to 4-1 on the season while Swampscott falls to 1-4. Classical’s Christian Figueroa who went all seven innings on the mound, allowing 5 hits, striking out 6, and walking just one batter in earning the shutout complete game win. Offensively Classical got a 2-4 performance at the plate from shortstop Brady Warren who delivered a two-run homerun and a two-run single accounting for four Classical runs. Classical will take on Lynn English Monday (1 p.m.) at Breed in Lynn. Swampscott plays Tuesday at Stoneham (3 p.m.).
