Danvers 41 Gloucester 27 – Dean Borders, Tahj Coakley Lead Offense for Falcons

 

DANVERS – The Danvers Falcons (9-2) scored on 6 of their first 7 possessions to defeat the Gloucester Fishermen (8-3) 41-27 in a game that wasn’t nearly as close as the score.  Two key defensive stops aided the Falcons in building a 38-8 lead with 5:36 left in the third quarter.  Tahj Coakely picked up three touchdowns, and Dean Borders added two more to lead the offense.

Gloucester’s Christian Sanfilippo (31 carries, 318 yards rushing) scored all 4 touchdowns for the Fishermen.
