Allen Estes is no stranger to the Gloucester music scene and he is one of our most well-known singer/songwriters.
Allen has opened for such acts such as Bonnie Raitt, J Geils, Tim McGraw, America, Jose Feliciano, Reba McEntire, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Chesney, Tricia Yearwood, Livingston Taylor, Robert Palmer, Rodney Dangerfield, The Outlaws, Stella Parton, Jonathan Edwards, Tom Rush, Aztec Two-step, Skeeter Davis, Earl Scruggs, Jeanne C. Riley, Grandpa Jones, Dr. Hook and Joan Armatrading
He has co-written with Tammy Wynette, Shenia Twain, Pat Alger, Norro Wilson Lori Morgan, Kent Blazey, Larry Cordle, Robert Ellis Orrall, Billy Montana, Dave Mallett, and Jimmy Stewart.
Allen is a lecturer in song writing and performance at THE BERKLEE SCHOOL OF MUSIC in Boston, MA. He also teaches a songwriter’s workshop at the NORTH SHORE COMMUNITY COLLEGE in Beverly, MA. He has been employed as a Staff Songwriter for the MERIT MUSIC CORP in Nashville TN.
Allen is currently performing club engagements, benefits, state fairs, resorts, colleges, and concert performances throughout the New England and Nashville, TN area.
