Swampscott Big Blue Top Triton 49-17 – Improve to 2-0 on Season – Colin Frary Throws 3 TD Passes – Listen to Game

SWAMPSCOTT – Swampscott High School football exploded for three 2nd quarter touchdowns increasing their 7-3 lead to a 28-3 halftime margin. Swampscott quarterback Colin Frary threw three touchdown passes in the game, two of them to Manny Teshowa (11yards & 32 yards) and a third to running back Dylan January (18 yards) Frary threw 5 TD passes in the Big Blue’s win last week against Greater Lawrence. Running back Isaiah Bascon recovered a Triton fumble and ran it into the end zone from 4 yards out for the game’s first score. Bascon also had a 2 yard TD run. Isaac Andre ran 56 yards for Swampscott for the game’s last score. Triton quarterback Thomas Lapham threw two 3rd quarter touchdown passes, a 4 yard pass to Jared Durkin and a 65 yard pass to Christian O’Brien. Triton kicker Joe Delmonico (freshman) booted a 39 yard field goal in the 2nd quarter.

Swampscott improves to 2-0 on the season and will host Winthrop Saturday 9/23 – Noon. Triton falls to 0-2 and will host Ipswich Friday night.
