BEVERLY – The Danvers Falcons (2-1) squeezed by the Beverly Panthers (0-1-1) in our broadcast today from the Ray Bourque Arena at Endicott College. The Falcons struck with 3 quick goals in the first 5 minutes of the game and dominated the first period. Beverly turned the game around, however, by scoring 2 in the the second period to make it 3-2 Danvers after 2. In the third, Danvers went 4-2, Beverly made it 4-3, the Falcons scored again to up up 5-3 before the Panthers added again with just over a minute and a half left in the game. Danvers was then able to hold on after Beverly pulled its goalie for a 6th skater.
