UPDATE – The Gloucester Fishermen defeated the Lynnfield Pioneers tonight by a score of 4 to 3. EJ Field scored twice for Gloucester’s first two tallies and assisted on the final two Gloucester goals. Jack Costanzo (1 goal, 2 assists) and Jack Delaney also scored for the Fishermen, with Delaney’s game-winner coming at 3:20 of the third period.
Danny Mack (assisted by John Simonetti and Ronnie Fucillo), Simonetti (assisted by Nate Alves) , and Alves (assited by Tyler Scoppetuolo) each scored in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd periods respectively to cut the Gloucester lead to one each time.
Gloucester led 2-1 after 1, and 3-2 after 2.

GLOUCESTER – The final regular-season broadcast begins at 6 p.m. today as the Lynnfield Pioneers (11-6-2, 6-4-2) visit the Gloucester Fishermen (11-5-3, 9-2-1) in the second meeting between the two teams. Gloucester won the first game on New Year’s Day, 3-1. Both teams are battling for a higher D2 North playoff seeding as Gloucester is tied for 7th place with Boston Latin, and Lynnfield is next at number 9 going into tonight’s game.
