BEVERLY – The Winthrop Vikings (10-1-1) beat the Danvers Falcons (7-4-1) tonight in our live broadcast tonight game by a score of 3 to 1 to move to 3-0-1 in the NEC North. Danvers falls to 3-1-1. The Vikings scored in the first and last minutes of the second period to go up 2-0 before Danvers got on the board with 17 seconds left in the middle frame. A power play goal with 4 minutes in left in the game gave Winthrop its 2-goal cushion.
