MARBLEHEAD – (Radio & Photos) Lynn Classical handed Marblehead their first North Eastern Conference loss of the season Friday night 61-58 at Marblehead High School. In a game of swings Marblehead stormed back to erase a 10 point deficit with just over two minutes left in the game to tie the game at 58 -58. The winning shot was a straight on three point shot from Edwin Solis with less than two seconds in the game. Marblehead’s Derek Marino led all scorers with 24 points and Patrick Bugler added 16 points. Dyrrell Rucker led Classical with 16 points, Jayden Johnson 15 points, and Edwin Solis added 14 points. Lynn Classical won the NEC North with an overall recond 18-3, one league loss. Marblehead’s 16 game winning streak ended, it was their first league loss of the season, (17-3) and they won the NEC South title.
