NEWBURYPORT – The Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control and Wetlands Management District is conducting an application to control adult mosquitoes on August 20, 2024, in the evening between the hours
of 8:15pm and 12am. In case of inclement weather, the backup date of application would be August
21st. The areas to be treated are Pony Express Fields, Giles Firman, Town Hall Fields, Great Neck
Park, Daniel Boone Park, Winthrop School, Father Ryc Park, Bialek Park, Ipswich Middle/High School,
Mile Lane Fields, Doyon School, and Benjamin Howe Park
The materials to be applied:
Suspend Polyzone (EPA Reg# 432-1514). Active Ingredient: Deltamethrin 4.75%. Suspend Polyzone
is a long-lasting, up to 90 days, and effective residual barrier formulation that controls adult

Zenivex E4-RTU (EPA Reg# 2724-807). Active Ingredient: Etofenprox (CAS #80844-07-1) 4%. Zenivex
E4 RTU mosquito adulticide is a high efficacy, reduced risk adulticide that provides quick, permanent
knockdown and reliable control of adult mosquito populations in any mosquito habitat flying at the
time of application. This product contains no synergist, therefore no Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO). The

Duet Dual Action Adulticide (EPA REG. NO.: 1021-1795-8329). Active Ingredients: (Prallethrin: (RS)-
2-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-propynyl) cyclopent2-enyl-(1RS)-cis, trans-chrysanthemate) 1%. Duet is a high
efficacy, reduced-risk mosquito adulticide that provides a quick, permanent knockdown and
provides reliable control of adult mosquito populations in any mosquito habitat flying at the time of
application. This product is an oil soluble synergized synthetic pyrethroid for effective control of
