A message from IPSWICH PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Dear Ipswich Parent,

School is cancelled at the Middle School and High School tomorrow Thursday October 13th. Unfortunately, a major sewer pump at Middle High School has failed necessitating this Middle – High School cancellation on Thursday. We anticipate the problem will be resolved within twenty four hours. I will contact parents and students if the problem demands a Middle – High School cancellation on Friday October 14th. Classes at both the Doyon and Winthrop schools will go on as scheduled.

All athletic practices and games at the High School will go on as schedule on Thursday October 13th. The College Fair at the High School will be held as planned. Any modifications in the College Fair program will be announced by the High School early afternoon Thursday. All other Middle – High School after school activities are cancelled for Thursday October 13th. Students involved in the Yacht Program or, any other external educational placement will have school as scheduled on Thursday October 13th.

I apologize for the inconvenience this situation causes families. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Sincerely,

Dr. Hart

Superintendent

Ipswich Public Schools
