It’s been over a decade since the the Generals Girls Tennis Team has defeated Manchester-Essex. But the Generals came out today with a big CAL Baker win over ME at the Manchester Athletic Club. The Generals (10-0) (6-0) CAL set the pace early with big wins by #1 Singles: Sky Jara 6-0, 6-0 and #2 Singles Naomi Provost 6-0, 6-0. #3 singles Chloe Gern played a complete match winning a tough 6-4,6-2 match at 3rd singles.
#1 doubles Nora Gamber and Brynn McKechnie played strong with great serves and volleys coming up with the 6-2, 6-4 win
#2 doubles Lisette Leonard and Lily Cassidy won 6-4, 6-3 to complete the victory.
HW will travel to Swampscott tomorrow for a non league match, Thank you for your continued great work in covering the Generals!
