Women’s College Hockey
BIDDEFORD, Maine. – The No. 10 nationally-ranked Endicott women’s ice hockey team defeated The University of New England, 2-1, on Friday night, at Harold Alfond Forum.
Madison Huber (Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored her first goal of the season, on the powerplay at 14:30 of the first frame to give the Gulls a 1-0 lead.
Then, Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) notched her seventh goal of the season, giving the Gulls a 2-0 lead at 5:48 of the second period.
Meanwhile, Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) made 16 saves to improve to 8-2-0 on the season.
