GLOUCESTER – Please be advised that there will likely be traffic delays at the rotary in Gloucester between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM this evening, due to a large convoy of police and fire vehicles.
This convoy—including units from Gloucester Police Department (Official) and Gloucester Fire Department —will be escorting Rockport Fire Captain Andrew Porter, following his sudden and tragic passing.
His loss is deeply felt by the Rockport, MA Fire Department , the wider Cape Ann public safety community, and all who knew him as a father, son, brother, and trusted friend.
