GLOUCESTER (Videos, Photos) – Tuesday afternoon the owners of the Fisherman’s Wharf in Gloucester started a pop-up drive-through fresh fish market that created a long line of vehicles extending along Rogers Street all the way to Commercial Street and beyond. Residents were seen waiting in line for a half hour or more to take advantage of the fresh seafood as well as the fresh air.
A police officer was called to aid the traffic jam that developed; he also acted as a deterrent to those who would jump the line.
No injuries were reported.
And the owners received a lot of gratitude from the paying public happy to get our of the house for awhile.
