Inside a backpack MOODY was carrying, police located approximately 42 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 11 grams of Fentanyl, numerous hypodermic needles, crack pipes, sandwich bags, and a variety of assorted prescription pills and several pill bottles in someone else’s name. A total of over $3,700 was found on MOODY and in his backpack.

While in custody at the Gloucester Police station, MOODY allegedly broke a GPS monitoring device and removed it from his ankle, which resulted in a probation warrant being issued for MOODY as well.

“The Gloucester Police Department is committed to responding to reports provided by community members, and Officer D’Angelo’s professional and timely response to this report led to a significant drug seizure,” said Chief Conley. “We are committed to helping those battling substance use disorder find treatment, but we are also committed to holding those who profit from substance use accountable for the toll that these substances take on our community.”
