GLOUCESTER — Chief Eric Smith is pleased to announce that two recruit firefighters were sworn-in today.

Firefighter recruits Mike Porcaro and Jeff Budrow were sworn-in at City Hall by City Clerk Joanne Senos today. Both have completed Firefighter 1 and 2 training and will be assigned to a group to start working with the public later this fall.

Porcaro and Budrow each are currently taking part in a four week training and orientation schedule with the Gloucester Fire Department.
