Gloucester: Baker-Polito Administration Announces K-12 Educators, Child Care Workers and K-12 School Staff Eligible for Vaccine Appointments Starting March 11th & Vaccine Appointment Availability for Next Week

Gloucester Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken welcomed Governor Baker, Lt. Gov. Polito and other state officials this morning at the West Parish School to showcase support for our education leaders, noting the 101st day of school operations, including in-person education. In addition to touring the school and hosting a roundtable discussion with Superintendent Ben Lummis, the Governor also announced that all K-12 teachers and school staff will be eligible for vaccination beginning  March 11, 2021. Other essential workers will also become eligible to sign up for vaccines on March 11, a group that includes about 400,000 people.
