After a rainout on Tuesday, the Generals came out flying in their opening game. Senior midfielder Ella Schenker found the back of the net four minutes into the game when she received the ball off a cross from senior midfielder Chloe Gern. Two minutes later, junior midfielder Lily Mark broke free for a shot off a pass from sophomore forward Annie Moynihan. Schenker added an assist, when she set up sophomore forward Tessa Hunt. Sophomore defender Maddy Wood and sophomore midfielder Sadie Gamber scored their own goals before Mark earned the hat trick with the final two goals. Mark finished the day with three goals and two assists.
Junior goalie Stewart Bernard and sophomore goalie Piper Shepherd combined for the shutout.
The Generals take on Rockport on the road on Saturday at 2pm.
