The MIAA has released updated power rankings for Boys & Girls Basketball and Boys & Girls Hockey.
Rankings include schedules and scores entered into the Arbiter system as of 4 a.m. today, February 10, 2023.

Ipswich 54, Amesbury 32 – Lucy Donahue sets a new career high with 36 points and Hazel Hoog and Ella Stein also have solid offensive performances. With the win, Ipswich not only improves to 9-8 but matches the programs highest win total since 2014.

Men’s College Hockey
University of New England 2, Endicott 2 (OT) – The No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men’s ice hockey skated to a 2-2 overtime tie against No. 11 University of New England (UNE) on Friday night in conference action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena. The Nor’easters earned the extra point with a 1-0 victory in the shootout.
Cass Bowes (Sturgeon County, Alberta) provided the offense for the Gulls with tallies in the second (14:24, first goal) and the third (12:17), respectively.
Ryan Willett (Bayville, N.Y.) dished out the primary helper on both goals, while Zach Mazur (Lancaster, N.Y.) notched both secondary assists.
After Bowes’ second goal midway through the third, UNE forced the eventual overtime and shootout with a shorthanded tally with 2:40 remaining in the contest.
Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) was credited with 22 saves in the tie (9-0-2).

Women’s College Hockey
Southern Maine 2, Salem State 1 – Madelyn McLeish’s third period goal proved to be the difference as Southern Maine came back with two third period scores to defeat Salem State, 2-1 on “Senior Night” in an NEHC clash at Rockett Arena on Friday evening. The Huskies up their record to 13-10-1 and 11-5-1 in conference. The Vikings lose their final regular season home game to go to 5-15-2 and 2-13-2 in the league.
Seniors Jessica Robert (North Reading, Mass.), Kayla McKim (Wakefield, Mass), Lexi Warner (Littleton, Mass.), Gianna Beauclair (Stoneham, Mass.), Carolyn Mahoney (Melrose, Mass.), MacKenzie Mallett (York, Maine), Isabella Perrotti (Winthrop, Mass.), Abby Stafford (Lynn, Mass.), Kendra Currier (Middleton, Mass.), Hannah Aveni (Melrose, Mass.) and Dana Smullen (Peabody, Mass.) were honored in a pre-game ceremony for their dedication and commitment to the Vikings’ program.
Endicott at University 2, New England 1 (OT) – Quin Healy (Melrose) buried a tally at the 1:03 mark of overtime to propel the Endicott women’s ice hockey team past the University of New England (UNE), 2-1, on Friday night at the Harold Alfond Forum.
Prior to the eventual game-winner, Jess Michals (Westwood) found the back of the net (5:47 | P2) to tie the game, 1-1 following a late first period goal from the Nor’easters (16:29).
Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.) registered 12 saves for the Gulls to improve to 6-3-0 on the season.
