On Wedensday, North Shore Regional 911 dispatched an ‘All Tone’ alert for a generator fire on Proctor Street located approximately 20 feet from a residence. Ladder 1, commanded by Lt. Happel, arrived on the scene to find the generator fully involved, with no extension \ to the residence. Ladder 1 deployed a 1 ¾” attack line to suppress the flames. Car 2 and C1 also responded to this incident. Manchester Fire and Police were on scene for about an hour, while Essex Fire provided station coverage during this incident.

Endicott College Athletics – Twenty-three members of the No. 10/11 nationally ranked Endicott football team have received Conference of New England (CNE) postseason honors, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
Headlining the award winners were quarterback Clayton Marengi (Lynnfield), defensive lineman Hector Johnson (Worcester) offensive tackle Charlie Kulhay (Glastonbury, Conn.), and head coach Paul McGonagle.
Marengi was named conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. He is the only student-athlete in program history to earn multiple conference Offensive Player of the Year honors.
